This page explains what this website collects, who handles it, and how to have it deleted. Questions? Email paul@theruckingrosary.com.

What we collect

When you apply to start a chapter. The Start a Chapter form asks for your name, email, phone (optional), city, state, your background (optional), and why you want to start a chapter. With each application we also save the IP address and browser you sent it from.

When you email us. Email sent to any @theruckingrosary.com address, including the chapter contact links, goes to Paul.

When you visit. Like any website, the services that deliver these pages see your IP address and browser. The site itself doesn't set cookies.

Why

We use your application only to contact you about starting a chapter. The IP address, browser and verification check help us block spam, and we limit how many applications one connection can send in an hour.

Who handles it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores applications in its database. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person; for that check, your browser connects to Cloudflare and we send Cloudflare your IP address. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without using cookies.
• Resend sends Paul an email with each application, delivered to his Gmail inbox (Google).
• Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
• OpenStreetMap supplies the chapter map's images, so its servers receive your IP address when the map loads.

Each of these services handles that information under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Your application, and the email about it in Paul's inbox, are kept until you ask us to delete them. For the spam limit we also note the connection each application came from (its IP address or network) and the time; notes more than an hour old are deleted each time a new application comes in.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information, use it for marketing, or share it with anyone beyond the services listed above.

Seeing or deleting your information

Email paul@theruckingrosary.com and ask to see or delete what you sent us.
